Nearly 70,000 young adults are diagnosed with cancer in the United States each year. Young adults dealing with cancer face a myriad of social, psychological and, of course, medical hurdles. Additionally, they face obstacles such as education, insurance, and employment.
The Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults has accomplished a great deal in the way of providing crucial support to thousands of young adults with cancer – through education, scholarship programs, and a network of human and healthcare resources provided free of charge.
On Saturday, October 15th, WMS team members Chad Norfolk, Katie Carlson, Eric Bland, and Juli Blum participated in the Baltimore Running Festival to help raise awareness and funds for the Ulman Fund. As the runners made their way through the hilly neighborhoods of Baltimore City, they were cheered on by enthusiastic crowds who supplied music, snacks, and encouragement.

The money raised from The Challenge for UCF will support young adults impacted by cancer.
