Jose Ruiz

As a Financial Advisor, Jose supports the advisory team in the preparation and implementation of client application and enrollment forms, data gathering regarding client financial information, preparation of client meeting materials, tax coordination and special projects as needed. Jose provides direct assistance to client advisors. He also collaborates with portfolio managers on the investment management of client portfolios, including public and private investments. Jose is a member of the Debt and Equity Committee, where he assists with due diligence and research.

Jose began his career with WMS as an intern, working with the firm during his last two years at Towson University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree (summa cum laude).  While a student at Towson, Jose was a Finance tutor and a member of a five-person team from the university that placed second in a regional CFA Institute Research Challenge beating out graduate student teams from other universities.  Jose is a CFA Level II candidate.
