It is incredibly humbling and gratifying to work alongside, learn from, and most importantly be challenged by a team of such outrageously generous and talented individuals. Since joining the firm, it’s been very rewarding to see the impact of so many varied spheres of expertise coming together to provide significant value to our clients – bringing creative solutions to the unique, financial complexities they face and enabling them to intentionally and effectively allocate their resources according to their values.
I am always looking for opportunities to spend more time outside. I love running, hiking, and any activity on the water in summertime. When the weather does not cooperate, I enjoy cooking, reading, exploring antique stores, and playing board games with family and friends.
One book is too hard – I would have to share the most influential book I have read this year. Amy Hollingsworth’s The Simple Faith of Mr. Rogers is a thoroughly surprising tribute to the popular children’s television icon. While Mr. Rogers was well-known for his quiet, gentle personality, he was less known for being a deep spiritual thinker who dedicated his life to encouraging children to acknowledge and affirm their own intrinsic goodness and to treat others in accord with their own human dignity. Ultimately, the author’s portrayal of Mr. Rogers’ philosophy of life was a refreshing challenge to slow down and become more intentional in the smallest actions and more fully present to the simplest encounters.
