WMS Partners is pleased to announce that senior financial advisor and wealth management expert, Gary R Anderson, has joined the Towson, MD based firm as a Senior Advisor.
WMS Partners, established in 1993, is a financial advisory and multi-family office with over $2.5 billion in client assets under management, one of the largest wealth management firms in the country (and the largest in the Baltimore area).

A member of the Maryland Bar Association (MSBA), Gary is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF). He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Lehigh University. Gary earned his J.D. with honors from the University of Maryland School of Law where he was a member of the Law Review. Gary is a member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA) where he served as Co-Chair for Advanced Tax Institute Estate Planning Day and he is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Gary belongs to the Baltimore Estate Planning Council and previously served as President.
Gary has over 40 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining WMS Partners Gary was a Principal at Glass Jacobson Investment Advisors in Owings Mills, MD. Gary was a Tax Partner at KPMG Peat Marwick for 20 years and he started his career as a Tax Associate at Venable, Baetjer & Howard. Gary has spent his career acting as the personal CFO for high net worth families. His primary focus is on total wealth planning, including estate planning, financial planning, insurance and investments.
Gary lives in Baltimore and stays active in the community through his volunteer efforts for The Associated and The Walters Art Museum.
In 2013, WMS Partners was named to Barron's list of the "Top 100 Independent Financial Advisors" in the nation and was the only advisory firm named from the Baltimore Metro area and one of three located in the entire state of Maryland.
